SPRING RECREATIONAL LACROSSE

The curriculum will challenge all skill levels from beginner to more advanced. The focus will be on increasing skill and techniques of proper stick mechanics, ground balls, defensive footwork, dodging, shooting, ball movement and game IQ.  Our talented coaches aim to create an amazing experience that fosters skill and a love of lacrosse.

Lacrosse stick, goggles, colored mouthguard (no clear or white allowed), and cleats are required.  Players must also have a current USA Lacrosse Membership.

Ages: 3rd - 8th Grade

Dates: Jan 28th thru April 6th 

Location: Chuparosa Park & Bogle Jr. High 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM

K - 2ND GRADE

Players will learn the fundamentals of the game - ball movement, defensive skills, hand eye coordination, footwork, speed and agility - in a fun playful environment. After all, kids who are having fun tend to stick with sports.   Our goal is to instill a great work ethic and strong teamwork that translate on and off the field and progresses with higher levels of play.  The program includes two practices a week and games on Saturday mornings.

 

Lacrosse stick are provided for players, but players are welcome to bring their owns sticks.  Athletic clothing, including cleats or sneakers are highly recommended.  Players must also have a current USA Lacrosse Membership.
